We need more ideas for fundraising. Hopefully we can do something with the zombie prom and culture shock. But we need ideas and we need to work together to make it happen.
The profit should out way the cost in a good ratio.

::A Light Doodle Event::
I was thinking about hosting an event using what people at lightdoodles.com do. It's kind of like the sprint commercials where the people draw with light pens while a camera is taking a picture.
We could have invite people to come in and pay to draw and then pay according to what kind of picture they want like lets say $2 for 4x5 and then like $3 5x8 or what not (I just made those numbers up but you kind of get the point) and we can either print it right there using someone's photo printer or we can order it and they leave us their info and we'll deliver it to them.
Here's a video on how to make the pens, they also have a video on how to correctly take the photos.

Should we try a concert? I was thinking of maybe auctioning the band off but what would they be auctioned for. If they were famous it would be an awesome idea.
Maybe they can sell their cds for half profit and give us the other half, it would help off campus bands get promoted.
If we have a concert we should try to make different/special in some way.
how about a car wash when it gets a bit warmer? Its very little money out and we can most likely find the supplies we need in our houses. I don't know where we could do it but its an idea to talk about.
Also we could collect bottles and recycle them. I know I have a bunch of soda and beer bottles sitting around in my apartment. Instead of dumping our empties off at the bins we could take them to say stop and shop... they add up quickly.
And one last idea.... I think I mentioned it in an email, we could sell candy bars. I did some research and got a distributor number and website.

It's about a 50% profit but we need to put out about $100 to get started.
No one seems to be using this blog too much but I'll comment anyway. The stood will be holding a flea market on wed when we get back. If it is at all possible to bring things in for it that would be awesome! It could be stuff that we make (like the LED jewelry) or baked goods or just crap u want to donate for us to sell! Just bring it in by WEDNESDAY!!
And if people are still interested in the auction idea we could still do that and just have a 'silent auction' where people come in and we'll write on a piece of paper something like 'Vanessa - Date' or John - photographer' n people can bid on the type of person they want to spend a day with. I don't know how well a 'people' auction would work but a few of you were interested in it, and if u like it u could try to find a way to make it work.
Here is the correct link to the flea market at purchase.

Instead of Pet rocks we can make these things
LED and Resistor Project
But shaped like animals.
Also another 'pet' idea was having a jar with branches in it, in the shape of a tree with LEDs on it. And maybe wings made out of construction paper, to look like fairies or fireflies.
