Question: can anyone recommend a inexpensive or preferably free Sound/Music editing software. I am thinking of using Adobe Soundbooth or even Adobe Audition Reviews. Any thoughts?

Audacity is a free audio editing program made by the Google people.
I have only used it a few times so I'm not sure if it's powerful/easy-to-use/etc.
Anyway:
